About the Stitch Detail
The original D21 dash has a simulated stitch line molded into the vinyl. This SoftCap is made without it — the surface is smooth padded vinyl in the correct factory grain.
We are not able to reproduce the simulated stitch in our full dash restoration process either, so this is a characteristic of the part rather than a reason to choose one service over the other. Everything else about the dash — shape, grain, and finish — matches the original.
